We had a tremendous day firstly climbing to the crater of the culprit, Vesuvius, then visiting her victim, Pompei. We trolled the fatal streets of that city, the one-time jewel of the bay of Napoli, saving the best till last - a certain house with certain frescoes, only to arrive there 5 minutes after that ancient house of ill repute closed. We fell about laughing at our stupidity having even more fun then than when we finallly saw the frescoes in the Napoli museum!
